He was also one of the funniest comedians ever, in the malicious tradition of George Carlin and Lenny Bruce, hiding social commentary in the bluster of stand-up comedy. Rant in E-Minor is probably the best introduction to his work, containing his opinions on such tame subjects as abortion, gays in the military and right-wing American pundit Rush Limbaugh.
