This one is a bit more hushed and ballad heavy, closer to Cat Power than Peaches (with whom Feist has also worked with in the past) but maintains an indie-minded blend of confessional pop, jazzy folk, and lo-fi torch songs. But be forewarned, this EP was actually recorded and released by the band independently in 2003. The EP is an interesting glimpse into the development of these musicians; decidedly less experienced at that point, the band didn't have quite as much oomph as they do now.
